Voi wins Oslo tender

Mar 31, 2022

We are delighted that today, 31 March 2022, Oslo municipality announced that Voi is one of three operators to provide shared e-scooter services in the city from 1 April 2022. This renewed recognition from the municipality to provide e-scooters for all residents in the city supports us in our vision to create better cities for living, free from congestion and pollution.

“We are proud that the municipality has trust in us and look forward to delivering on what we have promised. Through local cooperation, development of parking solutions as well as the launch of our new Voiager 5 e-scooter model, we want to contribute to a safe and accessible city for all” says Christina Moe Gjerde, General Manager Nordics at Voi.

Collaboration with Association for Visually Impaired

Collaboration with local stakeholders has been central to our commitment to Oslo municipality. One example of this is our recent collaboration with Norges Blindeforbund (Association for Visually Impaired).

“Our experience shows that local partnerships and knowledge are important in the tenders. A sharing service is not enough and close collaboration with the municipality and local organisations is vital” says Moe Gjerde.
