The Trottinett-Ballett. Voi e-scooters tread the boards in Zurich

On Saturday 7 May 2022, it was Grand Premiere of the Trottinett Ballett (Swiss-German for an e-scooter ballet) for the second year in a row
Taking place at the world famous Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich, our Voi scooters took a break from their everyday use and trod the boards.
The e-scooter ballet is designed as a contemporary art piece, created and choreographed by film and theatre director Piet Baumgartner, and his ensemble, as a reflection on urban mobility and the sharing economy.
E-scooters took over cities quickly and are now to be found almost everywhere. Sharing micromobility is normally a very polarising subject. The discourse rightly ranges on topics such as parking, safety and regulation. With his theatre piece Piet wanted to capture the movement of changing mobility in a more playful way. The scope of this was trigger a new thought perspective on the future of mobility.
We are very proud and excited to have lent our scooters and have had the opportunity to witness our service being brought to the stage and to a new perspective.
