Giveaway Terms & Personal Data

1. The competition is organized by Voi Technology AB, 559160-2999, Sveavägen 25, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden (“Voi”).

2. In order to take part in the competition you must be 18 years of age or have the consent of your legal guardian.

3. Acceptance of these terms is a prerequisite to take part in the competition. By taking part in the competition you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms.

4. You do not need to buy, order or pay a fee in order to take part in the competition.

5. The winner may not exchange the award for cash or other property. The winner is responsible for the payment of any taxation which may occur as a result of winning the award.

6. Voi has the right to exclude or remove any participant or entry from the competition without informing the competitor if Voi assess the entry to be illegal, in violation of these terms or offensive.

Information about the processing of your personal data

1. Voi will collect personal data about you that you submit to Voi in connection with participating in the giveaway. This personal data will be processed by Voi for the purpose of completing and administering the giveaway and possibly contacting you and publishing your Instagram or Facebook username on @voitechnology (Voi’s Instagram), @voitechnology (Voi’s Facebook) and/or @voitechnology (Voi’s TikTok) in case you win the giveaway.

2. Voi Technology AB, 559160-2999, (“Voi”, “we”, “us”) as the data controller is responsible for the handling of your personal data in the conduct of the giveaway as set out below. Personal data means all information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to you as an individual. 

When and why do we process personal data?

Managing and completing the giveaway

We process personal information that you have provided to us to administer the giveaway, e.g. to be able to contact you and announce your Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok name on our social media if you win the giveaway.

Retention period: Personal data is retained for this purpose until the giveaway has ended or at an earlier time in case you choose to withdraw your consent on which the processing relies on.

Marketing in connection with the giveaway

We may process personal data that you have provided to us in connection with the giveaway to promote our brand and our services, e.g. by publishing your Instagram or Facebook name on our social media @voitechnology (Instagram), @voitechnology (Facebook) and/or @voitechnology (TikTok).

Note that Voi will only use your username on its social media for marketing purposes (the purpose of announcing you as the winner). By joining the giveaway and following its terms, you agree that your name may be used by Voi for marketing purposes.

Retention period: Personal data is retained during the giveaway and thereafter for one (1) year from the end of the giveaway for this purpose, or at an earlier time in the case that you choose to withdraw your consent on which the processing relies on.

Manage and meeting legal requirements

In order to deal with and meet legal requirements, e.g. in connection with a dispute or legal process, we have to process your personal data that you have provided to us, where applicable.

Retention period: Personal data is retained for the time necessary to handle and respond to the legal requirement.

Fulfilling legal obligations

We process your personal information that you have provided to us in order to fulfill legal obligations to which Voi is a subject for, eg. regarding taxation and accounting.

To fulfill the purposes of processing personal data, we share your personal information with service providers we have hired, such as IT providers and others who provide services on our behalf. They are also required by law and agreement to take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information.
