Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Fredrik Hjelm co-founded Voi Technology in 2018, serving as its CEO since the start. His background includes various roles in the tech and startup sectors, including co-founding GuestIt and strategic roles at Avito and BCG.
Fredrik's international experience and passion for innovation have been pivotal in establishing Voi Technology's position as a top contender in the European micro-mobility market.
He holds a BSc. in Business & Economics from Stockholm School of Economics, attended the Swedish Armed Forces Interpreter Academy, and studied Russian at Uppsala University.
Chief Financial Officer & Deputy CEO
Mathias Hermansson joined as CFO in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience as CFO in Swedish and US-listed companies, such as Modern Times MTG and Veoneer Inc. He has served as a Non-Executive Director in Viaplay, Catena Media, and Zenuity, and currently holds such a position at Paradox Interactive.
Mathias's extensive financial expertise has been vital in shaping Voi Technology's financial strategy and driving the company's growth.
He holds degrees from both the University of Edinburgh and the University of Gothenburg.
Antonia Brandberg Björk
Chief People Officer
Antonia Brandberg Björk joined Voi Technology as Chief People Officer in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in leading People organizations in fast-growth environments. Prior to Voi, she held key positions at Bambora and IP-Only.
Antonia's international experience has been instrumental in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture at Voi Technology, enabling the company to thrive in the competitive micromobility market.
She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Bath.
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Douglas Stark co-founded Voi Technology in 2018 and has been the COO of the company since. Before Voi, he served as the first COO of Budbee, a Swedish last-mile logistics company, and later as CEO of SSE Business Lab, Northern Europe's top-performing startup accelerator.
Douglas's operational expertise has been crucial in Voi Technology's operations and expansion across Europe.
He holds a BSc in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics (2015) and completed the Swedish Armed Forces Interpreter Academy (2011).
Meet a few members of our Board of Directors
Per Brilioth serves as a board member for Voi Technology, bringing extensive experience in innovation and investment. He is the CEO and founder of VNV Global, investing in some of the world's most innovative companies.
Per holds a Bachelor's degree from Stockholm University (1993) and a Master's in Finance from London Business School (2002).
Jason Schretter serves as a board member, offering a wealth of experience in finance and business development. He is a Partner and Head of EMEA at The Raine Group. Prior to Raine, he worked at UBS Investment Bank and General Electric, followed by roles in Structured Finance and M&A.
Jason holds a Finance Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington (1998) and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from London Business School (2005).
Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen is a board member, providing valuable insights from his extensive background in Silicon Valley. He was an early Dropbox employee and later joined Uber in its early stages. He served as a General Partner at Balderton Capital from 2015-2021 and later founded the early-stage venture fund 2xN.vc.
Lars holds a Bachelor of Science from King's College London (1998), an MSc in Engineering from the University of Oxford (1999), and an MBA in Business Administration from London Business School (2007).

Christina Moe Gjerde
Regional General Manager
Since 2019, Christina has been a driving force at Voi, starting as a Strategy & Planning Manager before becoming General Manager of Norway & Finland and ultimately leading the entire Nordics and Benelux region. With her vast industry experience and inspiring mindset, Christina has fostered a strong team culture with a focus on hyperlocal operations.
Voi's dominance in the region, as evidenced by its clear market leadership and an impressive 100% tender win rate, is a testament to her and the team's capabilities.
Meet Yessin Aattache, our Country Manager for Belgium. Before joining Voi, he was part of the founding team of the first keyless electric moped-sharing company in Europe.
Under his leadership, Yessin's team has achieved numerous successes in Belgium, including expanding Voi's presence in the country and launching new initiatives for more accessible and affordable urban transportation.
Katharina Schlittler is the Country Manager for Switzerland and Austria and comes from a background of working in operations and consulting.
She champions safety and has been elected to the Board of Touring Club Suisse (TCS) Group City of Zurich, a non-profit organisation that promotes mobility and road safety in Switzerland. Further, she is a Co-Founder and part of the board of the Women-in-Mobility Hub Switzerland. Women-in-Mobility is a non-profit organisation that is committed to improving the visibility of women in the mobility industry.
